Authorities investigating child abduction in Ingram
An Amber Alert has been issued by the Kerr County Sheriff's Office for a 5-year-old boy who was abducted on Saturday evening. The child, identified as Ethan J. Ramirez, was last seen playing in the front yard of his home in Ingram, Texas, at around 7:30 p.m. When his parents went to check on him a few minutes later, he was gone.
According to witnesses, a man described as being in his late 30s or early 40s, with a goatee and driving a dark-colored SUV, was seen talking to Ethan shortly before he disappeared. The suspect allegedly offered Ethan candy and then drove away with him.
Law enforcement officers have been searching for Ethan throughout the night and into Sunday morning. They have set up roadblocks and are using helicopters and drones to assist in the search. The San Antonio Police Department is assisting in the investigation.
Ethan is described as being 3 feet tall and weighing 40 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue T-shirt, jeans, and sneakers.
