Oilers Aim to Extend Series Lead, Kings Look to Even the Score

The Edmonton Oilers will host the Los Angeles Kings in Game 2 of their NHL playoff series on Wednesday night at Rogers Place. The Oilers currently hold a 2-0 lead in the best-of-seven series.
In Game 1, the Oilers defeated the Kings 4-3 in overtime. Connor McDavid scored the game-winning goal for Edmonton, while Leon Draisaitl added two goals and an assist. Kings captain Anze Kopitar also scored a goal in the contest.
The Kings will be looking to even the series on Wednesday night. They will be led by Kopitar, who has been one of the most consistent players in the NHL this season. The Slovenian forward has scored 20 goals and added 30 assists in 75 games played.
The Oilers will counter with McDavid, who is one of the most dynamic players in the league. The 26-year-old centerman has scored 41 goals and added 69 assists in 78 games played this season.
The game is scheduled to begin at 8:30 p.m. PDT. It will be televised on ESPN and can also be streamed on ESPN+.
